Can-Sikh will be hosting it's 25th annual sports festival in the Wildwood Park, Malton, Mississauga, on July 10th and July 11th 2010.
The annual Can-Sikh Sports festival marks the start of the summer sports season in the Greater Toronto Area. This sports festival includes 3 days of sports events, which are organized to give the participants of all age groups, an opportunity to test themselves against family, friends and neighbours. The star attraction of the festival are the Kabaddi matches. These matches draw thousands of spectators. Matches are played by the professional kabaddi teams of the Ontario Federation of Sports. The event also includes exhibition matches by kids.
Since 2003, the Peel Regional Police participates in this event, fielding the best of peel, against the best of Kabaddi. The best of Kabaddi always get a run for their money.
